Craft workshop 15.6.2024 at 12-16.

Would you like to spend a relaxed, pleasant day working on your craft hobby and maybe bring a friend along?

Now you have the opportunity to try different handicraft techniques at Ruukin Kehräämö's Workshop Days in Mathildedal! June's themes are yarn spinning (Marja) and tappipuukudonta (Leena). Ruukin Kehräämö and Mathildedal provide a unique setting for a lovely day of learning something new. Wouldn't it be great to knit yarn you spun yourself? On the course you'll learn the basics of spinning yarn, and a suitable goal, in addition to acquiring the new skill, is a stripe or two for a sock leg or a hat.
Or would you perhaps like to knit a soft and warm seat pad from Kehräämö's alpaca yarns? With the punch-needle technique it can be done easily and quickly.
Course fee 50€, includes instruction and a coffee snack. Materials are not included in the course price.Materials and tools can be purchased from the teachers and the spinning mill. You may also bring your own yarns or fibers.
