Your rights |
1.Right to opt out of direct marketing A registrant has the right at any time to prohibit direct marketing. Every email sent by Ruukin kehräämö includes a link where you can directly unsubscribe from the newsletter. 2. Right to inspect your own data (right of access) Everyone has the right to know what information about them is stored in the personal data register. You can request from us that your data be inspected by proving your identity. 3. Right to request correction or deletion of information Ruukin kehräämö removes, corrects and completes incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete, or outdated information at the request of the data subject. The registrant has the right to request deletion of data if the processing of the data is not necessary. We will process the deletion request, after which we will either delete the data or provide a justified reason why the data cannot be deleted. Please note that the data controller may have a statutory or other right to refuse to delete the requested information. The data controller is obliged to retain accounting records in accordance with the period specified in the Accounting Act (Chapter 2, Section 10) (10 years). For this reason, accounting-related materials cannot be deleted before the retention period expires. 4. Right to restriction of processing The data subject has the right to request restriction of the active processing of their personal data, for example when they dispute the accuracy of their personal data and request rectification or erasure. In such cases, those personal data may only be retained and must not otherwise be processed. 5. Right to object to the processing of personal data The data subject may object to the processing of personal data if they believe that personal data have been processed unlawfully. 6. Right to transfer data from one system to another To the extent that the data subject has provided information to the customer register that is processed on the basis of the data subject's consent or instruction, the data subject has the right to receive such information for themselves, generally in a machine-readable format, and the right to have those information transferred to another data controller. 7. Right to withdraw consent If personal data is processed on the basis of the data subject's consent, the data subject has the right to withdraw their consent by notifying Ruukin kehräämö of this. 8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if the controller has not complied with applicable data protection regulations in its operations. Purpose of processing personal data |
Personal data are processed for purposes related to managing, administering and developing the customer relationship, providing and delivering services, as well as service development and billing. Personal data are also processed for purposes necessary to investigate any complaints and other claims. The data controller processes the data itself and also uses subcontractors who process personal data on the controller's behalf and for its account. |

As a rule, your personal data is processed by the staff of Ruukin kehräämö in the course of their work. Your data may also be disclosed to our subcontractors and partners under a written agreement. If any information is kept in manual (paper) form, it is stored in facilities locked against outsiders and securely destroyed. |
