Our charming shop in Mathildedal ironworks village is open on Saturdays from 11 AM to 5 PM and on Sundays from 11 AM to 3 PM. While the shop is not officially open on weekdays during the autumn season, you are welcome to contact us if you wish to visit. We are happy to open our doors for groups and individuals by arrangement. Welcome!

Paimio Fashion Weeks - Sustainable Fashion Event

Paimio Fashion Week will be held on September 25-26, 2026, in the unique surroundings of Paimio Sanatorium (Alvar Aallontie 275, Paimio). The event brings together sustainable fashion, textile circular economy, and creativity, offering inspiring experiences and an opportunity to discover new ways to dress and make sustainable choices.

On Saturday, Paimio Fashion Week opens its doors to everyone interested in responsible fashion and dressing. The day offers an opportunity to learn, be inspired, experience, and explore the world of sustainable fashion and textiles. The program includes lectures, workshops, and other content that encourages trying new things and discovering new perspectives on personal choices. Ruukin Kehräämö will be present with its own stand. Autumn Season Opening in Mathildedal

We want to celebrate the ambiance of the autumn season, darkening evenings, and softer light on Saturday, August 29, at our brick-and-mortar store in Mathildedal. The shop will be open longer than usual, from 11 AM to 7 PM, and small bites and refreshments will be served.

Welcome to discover our luxuriously soft knitwear, in whose warm embrace the arrival of autumn doesn't seem like such a bad idea at all. You can enjoy the warm and historic atmosphere of our shop and try on our new products that are not available anywhere else. In addition, you will receive expert material information and styling assistance.

On the same evening, Mathildan Marina and Harri's Rooftop Lounge will also be celebrating Venetsialaiset in Mathildedal ironworks village, so you can enjoy other experiences during the same visit. Welcome!

Summer Season Opening in Mathildedal

Welcome to open the summer season with us! Summer is just around the corner, and we want to celebrate it with you. On Saturday, May 23, we are organizing the Summer Season Opening at our shop in Mathildedal. The shop will be open all day from 11 AM, and around 3 PM, there will be a small musical entertainment number. During the day, there will be berry and cider tastings from Hallonmäen Tila.

Our shop will feature our entire Alpaca Royal collection and all our new spring products. We will provide expert tips for summer dressing and help you find high-quality and guaranteed comfortable products for all your summer activities.

Taito Shop Helsinki customer evening

Taito Shop Helsinki is organizing a customer evening on Thursday, April 23, from 3 PM to 6 PM at Eteläesplanadi 4. Sini and Leena from Ruukin Kehräämö will be present to talk about our products and activities, and new spring products will also be showcased. During the evening, you can participate in a workshop, and small sweets and drinks will be served. The first visitors will receive a spring surprise, and those who spend over €50 will receive a surprise gift.

Ruukin Kehräämö & Taito Shop Helsinki

We have heard our customers' wish to have Ruukin Kehräämö products available for sale in Helsinki. Taito Shop (Eteläesplanadi 4) offers a curated selection of our unique alpaca wool products. This includes knitwear from the Alpaca Royal collection, as well as bestsellers from our accessories and home textiles range. In addition, a very limited edition of unique garments made in Finland, which you won't find anywhere else, are also available for sale.

The Taito Shop Helsinki store belongs to the national Taito Shop chain and the Design District Helsinki organization, which represents a concentration of creative industry professionals in the city center of Helsinki. The store's product selection consists of high-quality products made by Finnish craft entrepreneurs. A warm atmosphere, high quality, and authenticity can be felt in the products and the store, supported by natural materials and stories.

Helsinki International Horse Show

Ruukin Kehräämö is once again participating in the biggest equestrian event of the year, Helsinki International Horse Show. The event will be held from February 26 to March 1, 2026, at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre. You can find us at expo stand 6a50.

Ruukin Kehräämö participates in a Pop-Up in Helsinki

A selection of our products is featured in the Ven&Collective Pop-Up from November 20 to December 20, 2025, at Mikonkatu 2. The Pop-Up showcases products from 39 different designer brands, both from Finland and around the world.

Mathildedal Christmas Market

The traditional Christmas Market will be held at Mathildedal Ironworks for two consecutive Saturdays, November 22 and November 29. Our shop will be open from 11 AM to 6 PM. Welcome to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere!

Harjun Kukka is hosting an autumn event at its premises (Nokiantie 24) from 11 AM to 4 PM, which, in addition to Ruukin Kehräämö's pop-up shop, will also feature a pop-up cafe, a wreath workshop, a photo wall, autumn flower bouquets, and much more wonderful and inspiring things.
