Ruukkin Kehräämö participates in Pop-Up in Helsinki

A selection of our products will be featured at the Ven&Collective Pop-Up from November 20 to December 20, 2025 at Mikonkatu 2. The Pop-Up will feature products from 39 different designer brands, both from Finland and around the world.

Mathildedal Christmas Market

The traditional Christmas market will be held at Mathildedal Ironworks on two consecutive Saturdays, November 22 and November 29. Our shop is open from 11 am to 6 pm. Welcome to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere!

Finland's Most Responsible Product 2026 has been selected

A tube scarf made from Ruukkin Kehräämö's Royal quality alpaca fiber was among the finalists in the Most Responsible Product of the Year 2026 competition. Our product was assessed as responsible and worthy of a place in the finals. Ostavastuulliesti.fi by the website's independent Responsibility Panel.

We weren't among the winners this time, but our Alpaca Royal collection came in fifth place in the public vote out of 130 products and 75 companies. A big thank you to everyone who voted for us!

We are participating in the Finnish Crafts Fair 14-16.11.2025

The Finnish Crafts Fair will be held at the Tampere Fair and Sports Centre from Friday to Sunday, November 14-16, 2025. See you at the fair at stand E30.

Pop-up store in Tampere on Sunday 19.10.25 from 11-16.00

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the people of Ruukki Kehräämö will pack their knitting needles and knitting yarn and head towards Tampere.

Harjun Kukka is organizing an autumn event at its premises (Nokiantie 24) from 11 am to 4 pm, where in addition to the Ruukkin Kehräämö pop-up store, you will also find a pop-up café, a wreath workshop, a photography wall, autumn flower bouquets and much more wonderful and inspiring things.

Finland's Most Responsible Product 2025 - Audience Favorite

Ruukkin Kehräämö is the winner of the public vote in the 2025 Finland's Most Sustainable Product competition. We received 8.18% of the public votes. A total of approximately 4,000 votes were cast and over 170 sustainable products were included.

Ruukkin Kehräämö's Alpaca Royal collection won with an overwhelming majority of votes. The alpaca clothing particularly delighted the voters with its timeless design, long-lasting quality and minimization of waste. A warm thank you to our loyal customers. This victory belongs to you!
