Genuinely comfortable

Ruukin Kehräämö's high-quality products are made from 100% Alpaca Royal fiber, which is soft, lightweight and non-pilling. Thanks to the long, fine and grease-free fiber, the garments do not itch and feel pleasant against the skin. Alpaca fiber breathes and regulates temperature, repels water and dirt, and does not retain odors.

In the Alpaca Royal clothing collection, the color palette we use follows the alpaca's natural shades. Un-dyed, we use the hues that are available, and some of the yarns are dyed. Dyeing is always done safely and responsibly, using REACH- and GOTS-certified methods.

Classic collection

Our products, designed in Finland, are manufactured in the Baltics and Finland. Durable and timeless design guarantees longevity – our knits do not pill, and steaming restores the fit. Garments remain in the collection as long as there is demand.

Responsible production

We use Royal Alpaca fiber from Peru that is ethically raised and holds USDA organic certification, ensuring farmers receive fair compensation. Our garments are knitted to shape to minimize waste, and faulty products are dismantled for reuse. Water usage is minimized in the production process.
