Leader Project

Ruukin Kehräämö applied for Leader company support from Ykkösakseli for an e-commerce development project. The project was planned to be implemented between March 1st and June 30th, 2026, and was carried out with the help of expert services. The development need focused on the structural and content development of the e-commerce store to best support business growth, customer-centricity, and internationalization. The project clarified the purchase path, and the visual appearance and content of the e-commerce store were updated to reflect the high quality of the products and support the company's sustainability communication.

The development project creates conditions for sales growth, increased production, and strengthened regional vitality. The project supports the long-term development of business activities and the renewal of rural livelihoods through digitalization. Development support enables the implementation of strategic development work without weakening the company's daily operations or financial stability.

Project content and measures:

1. Analysis of customer journeys and purchase experience

2. Design of the e-commerce store's visual appearance and structure (colors, typography, product images)

3. Visual design of product stories and sustainability content

4. Other technical improvements

The project was successful as planned, and cooperation with the service provider was very smooth and fruitful. The project was completed as desired thanks to Leader funding. The project was finalized on June 22, 2026.
