Our spinning equipment changed ownership at the beginning of September 2023. Our pioneering work in spinning alpaca fiber continues in Inkoo, carried on by two young women. If you are looking for domestic spinning services, we recommend contacting them: Linkulla Spinneri. Ruukin Kehräämö's own yarns will continue to be spun by a domestic small-scale mill.
We buy alpaca and angora rabbit fiber:
- We buy alpaca fiber with a quality of <18 µm. Price is determined by the world market price level as well as the quality and cleanliness of the fiber.
- We also buy fiber from domestic angora rabbits. Price is determined by the world market price level as well as the quality and cleanliness of the fiber.
