The black alpaca sweater is undyed
Alpaca is the only natural fiber used in the textile industry that can be completely black without dyeing. At Ruukki's spinning mill, all 100% alpaca products are undyed. There are up to 22 natural alpaca colors.
Since alpacas come in many different colors and shades, we think that dyeing the wool is unnecessary. When we think about the entire life cycle of the sweater, dyeing also causes restrictions on the reuse of wool.
Everyone is sure to find a color that suits their skin tone in our product selection. The natural tones emphasize the color of the wearer's eyes and the natural glow of the skin.
