Ruukkin Kehräämö's alpaca yarns are always made from the highest quality and finest alpaca fibers. They are soft and do not itch even on the most sensitive skin. Knitting with our yarns is an experience in itself, and the products become pleasant to use. Our yarns are produced locally in Finland or by our long-term partner, certified in Peru.

We primarily prefer undyed yarns that follow nature's own color chart. Depending on the yarn type and production batch, our dyed yarns are either hand-dyed with vegetable dyes or using responsible industrial methods that meet Reach and GOTS certifications.
