Avainlippu (Key Flag) Online Store

The Ruukin Kehräämö online store holds the Avainlippu (Key Flag) label. It signifies that the online store is operated by a Finnish company that creates jobs in Finland. The company operates from Finland and is Finnish-owned. The company's warehouse, headquarters, and management are located in Finland. The service is produced in Finland, and deliveries take place from Finland. The online store’s payment and delivery terms, as well as the trade register extract, are clearly presented.

Avainlippu (Key Flag) Product

Some of our products are manufactured in Finland. The Avainlippu (Key Flag) label for products can be granted when manufacturing takes place in Finland and the domestic content of the product is at least 50 percent. Ruukin Kehräämö’s repair service holds the Avainlippu (Key Flag) label. The label can be granted to a service produced in Finland by a Finnish company.

Design from Finland

The Design from Finland mark indicates that a product or service has been designed in Finland in a professional and user-oriented manner. Companies that have received the mark communicate openly about the country of origin of their products. The mark stands for Finnish work and for the fact that investment has been made in design.

Fair Trade Peru Good Practices

Fair Trade Peru Good Practices (FTPGP) is a national certification program for Peru created by PromPerú for exporters in the textile, alpaca, and interior design product industries. Its goal is to promote ethical, transparent, and responsible production methods. The certificate guarantees that production adheres to strict criteria for social responsibility and environmental protection, such as ethical working conditions and supply chain traceability.

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100

The alpaca yarns we use in our products are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a certificate for textile safety. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified textile products have been tested for harmful substances.

Golden Alpaca

Ruukin Kehräämö is the only Finnish company to have been awarded the prestigious Golden Alpaca mark by the International Alpaca Association (IAA). This recognition, which guarantees top-tier quality, has been awarded to only three clothing brands in Europe. The mark is granted to products made from hand-sorted 100% Baby Alpaca or a finer fiber type, such as Royal Alpaca.
