Alpaca Base Layer Care

Alpaca base layers are easy to care for: wear, air, and wear. Store the base layer loosely folded in a dry place, protected from pests. The base layer is most easily refreshed by airing and steaming. Stain removal and washing should be done with wool detergent by hand or using the hand wash program on a washing machine, at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Fabric softeners are not suitable for the base layer material. After washing, the base layer should be dried flat. A completely dry base layer can be finished by steaming.
