Ruukin Kehräämö's alpaca yarns are made from the highest quality and finest alpaca fibers. They are soft and will not itch, even on the most sensitive skin. Knitting with our yarns is an experience in itself, and the garments you knit will also be comfortable to wear. Depending on the yarn type, our yarns are produced either by our long-term partner in Peru or in Finland.
We primarily favor undyed yarns that follow nature's own color palette. Depending on the yarn type and production batch, some of our yarns are dyed either by hand using plant-based dyes or through industrial processes. Our Peruvian yarns are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and Fair Trade Peru Good Practices certified.
With our knitting patterns, you can create delightful and unique knitwear. Every knitting pattern is designed specifically for our own alpaca yarns. Professionally designed knitwear and carefully crafted patterns make knitting easy and enjoyable.
