Order and delivery terms

Delivery times and prices:

We ship all orders within 1−6 business days from the time the order is placed, excluding holiday periods. You will receive a tracking code from Posti once your order has been shipped, which makes it easy to track the progress of your order.

Shipping costs are €10 per order. Shipping is free for orders over €150 in Finland. For destinations outside Finland, the shipping cost is €30 per order.

Payment service provider

The payment intermediary service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and financial institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on your bank statement or card bill and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license. In case of complaints, we kindly ask you to first contact the product supplier.

Leaving the package uncollected:

If you do not pick up your package or receive your delivery within the given time, it will be automatically returned to us. Once your package has been returned and processed, you will receive a refund for the amount you paid for the products in the package/delivery, excluding any possible additional charges.

In addition, you will be charged a fee of 19.90 euros for unclaimed shipments, which corresponds to increased handling costs and charges from shipping companies. If you have paid by account or invoice, the fee will be deducted from your invoice. If you have paid by card, the fee will be deducted from the amount refunded to your card.

You have 14-day exchange and return policy

The exchange and return policy is valid for 14 days from the day you receive the product. You can open the package and inspect the product and return it if you are not satisfied with your purchase. An exception to the right of withdrawal applies to digital products, for which the right of withdrawal ends when you have opened the link and downloaded the product. 

When returning a product, it must be unused, all tags must be intact, and it should be returned in its original packaging. If the outer packaging is damaged, you may pack it in another suitable package, but make sure that the product is well protected during the return. If you have used or handled the product in a way that is not necessary for its examination, a deduction for depreciation may be applied. The deduction will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by our staff.

A notification must be made in advance for exchanging or returning an order. Contact Us the return form found on the -page or by clearly notifying about it, for example via email to the address posti@ruukinkehraamo.fi. The customer is responsible for the costs associated with exchanges or returns.

Complaint

According to the Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to complain about a defect in the product as a private individual. You must make the complaint within a reasonable time after discovering the defect, with a two-month deadline always considered a reasonable time. However, we hope that you do not wait to contact us but do so as soon as possible to receive quick assistance.

To be eligible for a complaint, the defect must be original and not result from misuse of the product. You should not make any modifications to the product (e.g., sewing it). Also, do not worsen the defect by continuing to use the product after you have noticed the defect. If you have received the wrong product, it will of course be considered a complaint. However, normal wear and tear in relation to the product's expected lifespan is not considered a defect.

You will receive a refund as soon as the incorrect product has been returned to us and we have accepted the complaint. However, in some cases, you may have to pay a reasonable compensation for the time you have been able to use the product, and this will be deducted from the refund amount.

If your complaint is accepted, we will refund any shipping fee/additional charge you paid when placing your order. However, if there are other products in the order in addition to the complained product, we will not refund any shipping fee/additional charge, as the fees are independent of how many products you have ordered.

The refund will be processed using the same payment method that was used to place the order. If the complaint is not accepted, the product will be sent back to you.
